A collection of camera lenses, with one large camera lens in the foreground and several smaller lenses in the background, against a dark background.

They are sharp yet have less micro contrast than most primes which works for pleasing skin tones. The highlights tend to have a slight glow, and the faster lenses can deliver unique blooming effects and aberrations when shot wide-open. Each lens gives you two looks in one, simply by where you set the iris.

Zero Optik swapped the iris blades for 14 blade irises that leave the bokeh smooth, soft, and never distracting regardless of what stop you are shooting at compared to the original distracting designs being 7 and 9 straight blade irises.

Our vintage Nikon lenses deliver amazing performance without sacrificing character.

These Zero Optik rehoused vintage lenses all come in PL mounts and matching 95mm fronts along with 300 degree focus throw.

This vintage1970s set provides high contrast and glowing highlights. Each lenses has two personalities. Opening up the lenses introduces more aberration, modest flares, gentle halation, and vibrant colors, but when stopped down the image becomes cleaner. This makes this set versatile when needing both cleaner looking images and others with more personality.

The NIKKOR 8mm f 2.8 FISHEYE LENS is limited to certain shooting applications—but its effect is remarkable. This fisheye’s specialty is its insane horizontal angle of view. The Nikon 8mm f 2.8 AI-s fisheye lens can capture 180-degree panoramas, far wider than the grand majority of normal cinema lenses and even most wide angles lenses.
