The full frame Laowa Rangers are everything one would want in a zoom. These are incredibly small & lightweight with the heaviest being the normal weight of any prime lens. These also have no iris ramping, minimal focus breathing and are parfocal. The Laowas also have interchagable mounts which can be set to PL or EF per order. Their large zoom range spans 16mm to 180mm. making the three lenses beyond that of an average prime set.

The close focus on these is very good with the minimum for the tighter lens being at 2’9’’. The Rangers also have built in back focus adjustments. This makes calibrating focus very easy when on set. All of these factors put together make the stand out beyond other zooms.
